Follow up with Surgeon
Madden met with Dr. Nobel, her surgeon, today to follow up on her progress since being released from the NICU. To use Dr. Nobel's words, she is a "success story". He was very happy with her healing. Madden has a "barky" cough and occasional "squeaky" breathing when she gets excited about something, but those are believed to be out grown by the time she turns 2. Otherwise, her little scars on the underside of her right arm look good.
